Professional Biography
While I originally joined the United States Marine Corps to be a member of the Drum and Bugle Corps, a training injury resulted in me losing my spot due to time constraints. This may have been one of the best things that has ever happened to me. The result was that I received an assignment as a Supply Administrative Specialist, and thus began my career in logistics. After serving at the Headquarters and Service Battalion at Marine Corps Base Quantico, I continued my career in logistics, working as an international shipping expert for several companies. This strengthened my world view and developed my sense of global logistics. Additionally, I am a license Real Estate Agent and also worked as a Real Estate Appraiser.  This career path opened up even more doors into the world of Business Administration and Customer Service. Communication skills are paramount when dealing the transportation and management of goods, both domestically and internationally, and requires several parties' cooperation throughout the entire process. Whether it's arranging for transport of a product to a foreign country where language barriers can have adverse effects on timely delivery, or taking the time to resolve an issue with a customer who is dissatisfied with their service, the ability to communicate effectively is a challenge on a daily basis. Over the years I have learned that patience, open-mindedness, and a spirit of tenacity are the foundation for success in my industry.

Personal Biography
Who is Logan Outside of Logistics?
I currently reside in Dallas, Texas with my wife and two children, ages 2 and 3. In my free time, I enjoy playing music, and actually have a full recording studio built in at home, which I use to record both my personal creations, as well as the works of others. When not recording in the studio, I enjoy performing at various locations in the DFW metroplex with my band, or by myself for solo gigs. Additionally, I work with my family to refurbish antique furniture and we collectively hope to turn this hobby into a profitable business. Lastly, one of my passions is working with people, particularly veterans, who are experiencing mental health crises, specifically with the goal of suicide prevention. I am a member of 22-Kill, an organization that brings attention to the fact that we are currently losing an average of 22 veterans a day to suicide, and provides resources an information to veterans in need.
